How do I connect my laptop?
Use the HDMI cable provided on the rostrum and select the HDMI input button on the touch panel
On your keyboard, press Window + P to Toggle between your screens
Here, you can choose from several display options:
Duplicate: Shows the same image on both your laptop screen and the projector.
Extend: Expands your desktop across both your laptop screen and the projector, giving you more workspace.
Second screen only: Displays the image only on the projector.
There is no sound. What should I check?
Ensure your laptop is not muted
Confirm you have the selected HDMI
Check that the AV controller volume is turned up
Still not working? Reconnect the cable and restart the AV system
*Not all cables carry both video and audio.
HDMI: Check for physical damage and ensure it's plugged in securely. If using a long or older HDMI cable, it might be degraded and failing to transmit the audio signal.
Adapters & VGA: If you are using a VGA cable, it transmits only video. You will need a separate 3.5mm audio jack connected from your laptop to the projector's Audio In port.
Windows: Click the speaker icon in the bottom-right corner of your taskbar. Click the arrow or list next to the volume slider and select your projector/HDMI display as the output device.
Mac: Go to System Settings > Sound > Output and select the connected projector or HDMI display
The Projector is blank. What do I do?
Check Connections & CablesSecure the cables. Unplug and reconnect both ends of your HDMI or USB-C cable.Test ports: Try connecting to a different port on a different device
Make sure the projector is powered on and not in standby mode. Ensure your connected laptop, streaming stick, or computer isn't in sleep mode or displaying a screen saver.
Check if the correct input source is selected.
Re-plug your laptop and wait a few seconds.
Access the display settings on your laptop not displaying on projectors and confirm the appropriate display mode.
Leverage function keys, such as "Fn" in conjunction with the corresponding F-key on the top row to toggle between diverse display modes, and ensure compatibility with the projector.
How do I use the microphone?
Wired Connections
If you're using a wired microphone with an XLR connection, just plug together into microphone input.
Switched on button on the microphone (via the switch)
Wireless Connections
Press and hold the microphone button until it turns on.
Verify the microphone is not muted (physically)
Replace or recharge the batteries in wireless microphones.
Confirm the correct microphone is selected in the touchscreen
Adjust volume using the AV controller if needed.
The touch panel is not responding. What should I do?
Wait a few moments for the system to initialize.
Check that the AV system is powered on.
If the issue persists, restart the AV system or contact AV support
How do I play audio through the room speakers?
Ensure the HDMI input is selected.
Confirm your laptop's audio output is set to the connected display or HDMI device.
Increase the volume on both your laptop and the AV controller.
How do I end my session and switch off the AV system?
Shut Down the AV System
Use the Control Panel: On the central AV touch panel (or wall controller), press the System Off or Shutdown button.
Confirm Shutdown: The panel may ask for a confirmation prompt. Tap Yes or Shut Down to initiate the automatic cooling and power-down cycle
How do I report an AV issue?
Submit the issue through the AV Feedback Form, providing details such as the room, equipment affected, and a brief description of the problem.
